Dear Mr. Mackintosh,
It's an extreme pleasure to receive your letter. We are deeply
obliged to you as well as your country for your monumental dedications
to the armament of our missile troops during the joint cross-strait
defense of R.O.C and U.S.A, so that our country could still attain
full growth, even confronted with the threat of China. We sincerely
welcome your visit to our base. Visiting this memorable please, you'll
see our most strenuous efforts to arrange every detail of your trips
to our camps in Tai-shen, Lin-ko, Ten-tsuei, Yang-mei, etc.
As for your company on this trip , not only will we invite your old
acquaintances you're mentioned in your letter, but we'll try our best
to find the partners you worked with back in those days. Each of us is
earnestly looking forward to April 26. If it's convenient, please be
kind enough to provide us with the list of the names of the members in
your tour group, which will facilitate our task of searching for more
of your ex-coworkers to join us on this magnificent occasion. Please
do not hesitate to write and tell us if any more information or
service is required.
Sincerely Yours,
Commander of Air Defense Missile Command
GENERAL Ku
